    Ripping to Network Drive?

I'm curious if there is any problem ripping a BR to a network drive over Ethernet versus directly to the HTPC hard drive? I imagine the rip to the network drive may be slower, which is okay. I'm most concerned about any risk of quality of the rip to the network drive. It saves me considerable time to rip to the network drive, since the htpc hard drive is only 500mb, and I basically have to move the ripped files to the network drive.

    Any input is appreciated.

Technically there can't be a quality loss, just limited by HDD and network speed when checking against internal HDD.
