3 Days of the Condor Blu Ray

"3 Days of the Condor" blu ray causes dvdfab to shut down.

    1. start dvdfab
    2. prompts for region code
    3. starts reading disk
    4. before any data comes up dvdfab shuts down

I've seen this only once before on the Lemony Snickets DVD when it first came out.

    OS: Windows XP SP2
Drive: external USB connected LG. Model #: GGC-H20L
    dvdfab version: 6125

If I can provide anything else, let me know.

Well for starters you should up date your PC to SP 3, then you might want to check that your firmware for the LG is current, I think those would be good starting points.

I updated to XP SP3. My firmware is up-to-date. The problem is identical as before. Has anyone else had luck with this disk?

I haven't tried this disc dvdfabuser, but I know that for some inexplicable reason, fab will have difficulty reading a disc, what you might want to do is make sure disc is clean, and double check settings in common settings, making sure that your I/O mode is set at Auto under read, and try blowing some compressed air in your drive, in case there is some dust on the lens.

The disk is in perfect condition with no smudges/scratches. I haven't tried the disk in the PS3 yet. I will watch it tonight and see it if is good. The lg drive can read the movie 'contact' so I just think dvdfab can't handle '3 days of the condor' yet. If the disk isn't happy in the ps3 I will report back

Is this a new BD release, if so you might want to forward the log to fengtao,
but please let me know if the movie played in the PS3 player.
