dvd only plays in blu-ray play

I.ve tried copying blu-ray to dvd with limited succes.The dvd will ony play in my standalone blu-ray player & my pc, my other older dvd players in other rooms display "no disc" it seems a shame as this software looked promising.Is there a way over this please.

Can your dvd player support writable disc (DVD-R or DVD+R)? Please check it.

In addition to what fengtao asked you may need to change the A/V Codec setting in common settings of DVDFab to software for all choices. Also if you are using DVD+R/DL media you may want to select "Set booktype to DVD-ROM" located in Common settings-write

Thanks I will check that out, & yes all my dvd players do play dvd-r & + not necessarily dvd-re

Dvd playback ok now

I have tried blu-ray to dvd since altering the setttings & it now works fine.Thanks for your help.
