    Date Night...Director commentary

Why, when I do BD to DVD do I get the director's commentary on the DVD after conversion? Is there something I need to uncheck?

    Thanks

Make sure you are selecting the correct audio as it seems you selecting the commentary

The only option I have chosen was English AC 3/2. The only other option would be English DTS

Every other option is in another language. When I view in Preview...there is NO director commentary...but once the conversion is made...the director talks all the time. Did it with UP as well...same result. Did another conversion of Date night today...ripped to a TEMP directory created specifically for it. Same result...director commentary and not movie dialog. Here is the logs

        Date Night...Director commentary

Had the issue with Blu Ray to DVD Converter and now with Blu Ray copy. I get the director's commentary instead of normal movie sound. Here is the log...

Two threads on same subject merged.

Keep all post with this problem on one thread.

Excuse me...but the two threads are NOT the same. One is Blu Ray to DVD conversion and one is Blu Ray to Blu Ray. 8.0.6.4 has the same problem for both...that is the only relationship between the two threads. I thought since the issue were with two separate modules that they required two threads...am I incorrect?

            Thanks

You seem to have the same problem no matter what you are doing so keep it on one tread.

                Gotcha...no problem.

BTW...I reinstalled 8.0.5.0 and did the Blu Ray to Blu Ray...odd...but the only audio choice was DTS...so I chose it and the issue went away. The English AC 3/2 may be the culprit. Going to do a Blu Ray to DVD conversion with 8.0.5.0 first and then follow up with DTS as audio choice in later version and see what happens...I will keep you posted

That is why I said make sure you select the correct audio. Since you did not give enough info in your first post have no way of helping. As for Blu-ray to DVD I always select the DTS audio when I convert to DVD and as you found out the AC 3/2 audio is always the commentary

Seems to me like the last two Beta versions might be defaulting to the wrong audio track. I had the same problem twice. I had to go back and manually select the correct audio track. I never had that problem before the last two Betas.
