Cinavia Protection Displayed While Trying to Backup Resident Evil: Afterlife

After inserting/scanning the R1 Blu-Ray disc of Resident Evil: Afterlife, the following message appeared: "The disc contains Cinavia protection, you may not be able to play the backup disc on certain players like PS3 (fw: 3.10 and up)." I did a Blu-Ray-to-DVD conversion to a DVD disc and attempted to play it in a Sony DVD player. On several occasions the copied video wopuld jerk and briefly pause before continuing. Are there any plans underway to correct for Cinavia-protection?

I not think cinavia has anything to do with the video as it more for audio. Post your internal log file located in document-dvdfab-log as this may be more of a settings issue than cinavia issue

does cinavia roll forward from the bd to a dvd when using DVDFab's BD2DVD program

Does the cinavia "watermark" roll forward from the blu-ray to a dvd when using DVDFab's Blu-ray to DVD program? Does the cinavia pollution and watermark survive the DTS HD Master to Dolby Digital conversion? Does DVDFab identify cinavia when scanning a dvd like it does for a blu-ray? Has anyone tested this?
