Blue ray to DVD copies okay fails to burn

    Hello,

I am trying to copy the Casablanca 70th Anniversary Special Features disc to DVD9. It works until I must insert a blank DVD9. After which, I get the message, "failed to Burn, Try again?" which I do with every blank dvd9 I have. It never gets past this point.

I burned a few photos to the DVD9's to check my burner and media. All works fine.

Please help me if you can :-)

    Susan

Try going into common settings and unchecking the autoplay handler. Might help I don't know? See attached:

      Casablanca still not burning

      Hi ,

I made the change that you suggested, and I also upgraded to 9.0.3.1. I got a page full of error messages that I am unable to copy and paste into this reply ( just how do I do that )

Basically I got 12 messages as follows:

      CoreAVC for video decoding enabled
      Work 1 ( thru 12) failed, Error = graph 1 1
      Conversion: one pass

My LG blue ray burner is silent, even though DVD Fab appears to be running. Time elapsed is over 15 minutes and nothing is happening.

I have no clue what to do...

Try going into common settings and turning off all the GPU stuff.

          So far so good?

Thank you again for your quick reply. I really do appreciate it!!

Okay, I made the change you suggested (although I have no idea what it means). So far so good..I think. It is running with the following in the progress pane:

          Conversion: one pass
          Source( 000087.m2ts)

          Task time elapsed: 00:10:40 +
          Task time left:01:04:14 -

          Encoding Fps:32.37 +

Let's see if it completes, and then burns

            Worked...sort of

            Eureka...kind of,,,

Well it burn the main movie. However I got no DVD titles for scene selctions. Also there are 2 hours of special features on the disk that I did not get.

I did select entire disc, not main movie.

            What do I do now?

            Thank you again!

No title, chapters or special features copied

              Hello,

Your last suggestion worked in that I had no errors and a DVD9 was burned.
However, I only got the main movie, without any titles, chapters, or special features.

Where did they go? I thought I had a simple task: copy the entire Blu-ray dis to one or more dvd9's.

How do I make this happen?

              Thank you,
              Susan

That looks like the way "To DVD" works, it only selects the main movie. You may be able to select the extras manually I don't know this for sure. When you select the source and click on "To DVD" put a check in each of the boxes I've highlighted below. That's a lot of compression though?

                  Lots of compression

                  Yup!

I am doing that now....I selected everything except the main movie...been running 17 hours!!!!!

At least it didn't crash. I'll keep you posted.

                  Thank you!

You're right about that! I selected all the chapters except the main movie. It's been running 20 + hours. It has not failed. I'll keep you posted1

Thank you for all of your help!
