Day of the Dead 1985

This is just an FYI. I got this to work by going back a few versions.

Day_Of_The_Dead (this is the original 1985 version)
I tried to copy this dvd using new version 8.0.5.2 (full disc) It acted like
it copied fine but it would not work. It would never go to the
Menu. But I had copied it previously with version 6.2.2.0
and it worked. My copy got scratched so I was making another
and I could not get the copy made with 8.0.5.2 to play using VLC. But could get it to work with the older versions I sill have installed for just this reason.

The two versions I tried worked 6.2.2.0 and 7.0.4.0 but
version 8.0.5.2 would not.

I think that these two lines are the problem: ( see 8.0.5.2 listing below)


Potential bad sector (vts:1 menu begin:0 end:3) is removed!
Potential bad sector (vts:1 menu begin:21757 end:44712) is removed!

Did you try it with PathPlayer disabled on Version 8?

I can't believe that I didn't remember to try that. I have not had to mess with it for so long. Yes. Disabled pathplayer worked.
