cant copy alien dvd

    cant copy alien dvd

    hey guys i am having real trouble copying the dvd Alien i can get it to open the dvd but when it starts to copy it only does it at 8mb and it stalls out at 15% is there a patch or something i2010-12-15 20:45:23 ---- ******************** Log session stop 15-Dec 20:45:23.193 PID 4648********************

    Need internal log as well but you might want to try with Pathplayer disabled as DVDFab can do all the Alien DVDs with out issues

      i have tried to copy it with the pathplayer enabled and disabled and no luck. i also tried using main movie function and no success there either. here's my internal log

        It sounds to me like the disk you are trying to copy may have some problems. Try cleaning it first, and see if that makes a difference.

        If that doesn't work, D/L VSO Inspector from the web (it's a freebie) and install it. Then start up Fab and let it open your source disk (just like you are trying to start another rip). When Fab has the disk opened, start up VSO Inspector and run a scan on the disk.

        Any read errors point to a defective source disk, and you may at that point want to consider exchanging it for a better one.
