    Disc burn problem

    I've never paid for a worst software then dvdfab I will go elsewhere when my software expires this garbage takes 3-6 try's before burning anything besides that it gives me dozens of coasters I'm really sick of this junk

    Well, your problem must be something other than the software because I have been using DVDFab for at least five years years now without any major problems at all. As a matter of fact, I think it is the BEST DVD copying software that I have ever used.

      it's not my computer because I use 2 computers and they both have and give the same issues, gives me coasters,takes 3-4-5 times before it actually copies a disk, I reboot constantly to make sure there are no conflicts, it's definitely the software here !

          it takes try after try to get "NEW" disk to copy WTF I have better things to do then to keep trying time after time

          yea after so many try's it does get it.

            Well I do not see any logs posted maybe you should post them and we can make you a happy camper again the default location is:
            For Win7 C:\Users\User Name\My Documents\DVDFab\Log
            or Vista C:\Users\User Name\Documents\DVDFab\Log
            or for XP C:\Documents and Settings\User Name\My Documents\DVDFab\Log

                I am sure that it is probably bad disc's or burning to fast, we will see when you get your logs

                    If you are having a hard time attaching them, when you open the log try copy and paste, but only the most resent logs

                          The logs confirm what we thought:-

                          1. The Ritek disks you are using are CRAP. get some decent Verbatims.
                          2. You are trying to burn at 8x. Way too fast for these disks. Slow it down.

                              Thanks breaker

                              2 things I see first
                              1- The disc's you are using are considered garbage "sorry" consider picking up some Tayio Yuden (online)
                              or Verbatim with the (AZO Dye) on the label that is important.
                              2- Your burn speed ,I would suggest Installing ImgBurn as your burn engine if you want to try and salvage the disc's that you have, it is "free"...you will find it here along with a tutorial on setting it up with Fab
                              Do Not forget to set up the AWS in ImgBurn and also this is very Important if you are going to use the disc's you have lower your burn speed, you should always set your burn speed to 1/2 the rated speed of your disc.
                              Give this a try and post back
