I originally was trying to convert an avi file and the video converter would not work. I was advised to uninstall and re-install.. I've done that wit no success. I tried to reset passwords at the link that was sent to me but with no success. Keep getting a verification failed when tryin to have my pasword emailed to me. Dont know if that is the problem but now i cant even copy a dvd.

Just a couple of questions...
- were you starting with an avi file and looking to convert to something else?
- when you look at the about screen, what does it say about your registration status?
Please advise.

DVD Fab was never able to convert from Avi to DVD.
If you are using the paid version then Open Fab Click the ? click about what does it say under the options you purchased.
