DVDFAB DVD Copy Program Updates and Fixes

I just purchased the DVDFAB DVD Copy Program Lifetime ver. 8.0.6.1.
I did not purchase any of the other programs.

I have a question about updates.

It looks like there are 2 sub forums for updates.

Latest Official Releases
Latest Beta Versions

What is the difference between a Release and a Beta Version?
When should I do these updates?

In Latest Official Releases:
When I click on the most recent post it takes me to this website:
The Update says DVDFab – it includes all the modules (Ripper, Video Converter, etc.)
But I only purchased the DVD Fab Copy Program. I don’t see a Download for just the DVDFab Copy program. So, Am I supposed to download the DVDFab?
When I download and install the new Official Release over the old version,
do I have to re-enter my Registration Key again?

In Latest Beta Versions:
I don’t see any Beta Versions for DVDFab Copy.
There are only Beta Versions for DVDFab or Passkey.
Should I download the Beta Version for DVDFab?
Does DVDFab Beta Version have DVDFab Copy in it?

When I download and install the new Beta Version over the old version,
do I have to re-enter my Registration Key again?

Beta releases often contain new decryption codes which are released for a particular movie(s) prior to an Official release becoming available.
They also may contain new features/functions which are not quite ready to meet the standards for an Official version.

Official or Final versions are just that...final.

Most of the old hands here and I believe all of the mods, choose to download and install the beta versions.
Please take note of the release notes and any threads that may alert you to potential problems or bugs re: beta versions.

Simply download the installer from this website near the top of the forum to find final releases and beta releases.

The installer is comprehensive...for all modules.
Only those modules that you have purchased will be "active", excepting any of the modules which you have not trialed.
These trial modules will function for 30 days once opened.

The only other exceptions are DVDFab Virtual Drive (freeware) and DVDFab Passkey, still available as freeware and once released, is free to any previous owners of DVD Region + CSS Free.

Simply install the new version right on top, no need to do anything else.
However, the recommended method is to download and save the installer to your hdd, then close it.
Now open and run as administrator.

This will help to avoid any problems and you have older installers available in the event you wish to revert to an older version.
