          Hi marion
Along with the excellent advice given allready..Please install ImgBurn you will find it here along with a tutorial on how to set it up with Fab

You also need to click the top screen of DVD Fab "DVD Kopie" for using the DVD function.....while here
Click the Green top right > DVD/BluRay > Write > Put a check in the box that says Set Booktype to DVD-Rom Click OK restart Fab.
Give this a try and post back

For the Blu-ray problem you need to select the DVD Copy as you seemed to have selected Blu-ray Copy for some reason probably because of maineman screenshot. The screenshot was more for showing you to select the green dot with check mark to get to the DVDFab settings to reset DMA.

so i need to check dvd copy again and leave the preferences as was shown in the screenshot?
Is the poor quality of the videodvd (sound is fine) because of my poor quality dvd than?

                Exactly.
The screenshots were simply to show you where to click to enable DMA, ie.,
                the 3 red boxes.

Marion, sorry if I confused you.

AGJ, thanks for clearing up the confusion.

Marion, do not try to bring up any of the Blu-ray modules.
Just click on and open DVD Copy in the upper left field.
The settings can be accessed and changed within DVD Copy.

I'm sorry Marion, but I'm just guessing since I'm totally lost outside of English.
Are you able to click on the arrow just to the right of Source
and pull down your source dvd drive.

If no, then click on the folder just to the right of the arrow and this will bring up explorer.
From here, you can navigate to and select any location on your pc, including your source dvd drive

I'll post a screenshot if you need it
If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

Clicking attow next to aource gives an empty window. Clicking the file next to it gives no result, maybe i did something wrong? I opened the dvd and copied the contents to a new file on my desktop. Than clicked file next to arrow and chose that file but nothing changes, it keeps telling me i need to insert a dvd/imagefile.I hope my english is good enough to explain hahahaha, it must be hard for you to understand what i mean!

                          Your English is excellent.
Fab should be able to populate any location in your pc for Source or Target, without any prolems.

                          Please try this.
Go into Common Settings > click General
                          untick Memorize user interface options

Now, please download v.8065 but this time, save it to a location on your hdd, close it. Don't open and run it just yet.

Once the download closes right click on the installer that you just downloaded select and left click and run as administrator.

Don't worry that it's already installed, this will install right on top.

Now open Fab and with any luck, your source dvd drive should be populated in the Source window
If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

Well, I've gotta get some sleep...a long day at work starting in the morning and it's already past 12M here.
I'll check back as I'm able tomorrow, but we work well as a team and someone is usually around.

Not to worry, we'll get this sorted...
