    @ gummi

You might be into something there, when I put the DVd in the computer VLC starts automically which will play .iso files. It's written as an UDF file as far as I can see.

I have the latest imgburn version.

          This is one of the burned DVD's;

          "Imp ID: VSO software"

So it must be a DVD-video, not .iso or what?

For ImgBurn, You should use the write mode when you have an ISO and not build mode. Build mode will only burn the ISO as a pure ISO file and that's not what you want.

You'll need to use a NTFS hdd (or partition) such as your c: drive

                That he/she also uses.

                I 16:04:40 Destination File: C:\Users\Laurens\Documents\DVDFab\ISO\CASH.iso

If he/she should place the destination to the FAT32 disk, the ISO will be split into 1GB junks, so having it formatted as it is now, is not a problem.

                  Hei

.iso is not the problem, it burns .vso files, I checked, just won't play on the dvd player.

                  Back to square one.

Dunno why it's dumping FAT32 on E: drive, but I do not use this drive for my rips, I use the C: drive.

On the discs that you can't play on your stand alone player, can you open up that disc in Windows Explorer and look what file(s) there is on it.

Is there only one *,iso file or do you see a folder named VIDEO_TS ?

dvd player says 'no disc', can try to open it in another folder but on my laptop there are only the video_ts files, .iso file.

This is how it should look like when it works.

Can't you just open ImgBurn and select the write mode and then open the iso and burn it? That should give you the above structure of disc that can be played on your stand alone player.

I will give it another try, but that's what I have been doing all along, for some strange reason it will not play the dvd.

                            Still no go.

Is there a possibilty I can rip DVD's to .vob files on my HD?

Than I will burn these files using another program, maybe this will work.

                              Hi reitsma
Why are you going backward in ImgBurn versions???
                              The newest version is(Currently hosting v2.5.5.0) http://www.imgburn.com/index.php?act=download

Also do not rip it to your hard drive as ISO, rip it to C:\Users\Laurens\Documents\DVDFab, then you can do as Gummigutta said in post 26 to burn to disc.
                              Hope this helps

don't ask me why it's going back versions in IMGburn... I downloaded the latest the most recent version lately.

I rip .iso files to C:\Users\Laurens\Documents\DVDFab been doing that from the start as far as I know.

nobody knows if I can rip to .vso files?
