I can't get copies to play

what can i do to trouble shoot
Im using verbatim discs and they have play on my ps3 and dvd player when burn with shrink and decrypter

What we're saying is your internal burner is most likely dying from overheating in your laptop. It may read disc ok and rip them correctly but that is not as strenuous as burning a movie. Your choice of media is great but as stated you will need a new burner
