Had no problems backing mine up. I have my Pathplayer set as "as needed". Try with pathplayer off. See if that helps. These new movies that just came out are being a PITA.

What exactly does the pathplayer do?

What you posted is just DVDFab telling you what is on the DVD for copy protection that it removes for the back up so just click OK for that and then start your back up. DVDFab is able to do the movie and you should leave pathplayer at default setting which is always enabled

            A simple, non-technical explanation:-

Pathplayer navigates through the disk as it was actually playing the DVD and finds the valid content.

The new attempts at copy protection are inserting dummy entries with heavy protection that do not get played in a normal set top player and Pathplayer attempts to identify these and remove them from being needed to be processed.

the window pops up at 85% done pop up states at top to be a and asks if you would like to be a reading/writing error control and then asks if you would like to : retry/abort/ignore/ignore all and thats all I can find. Using 6.1.2.5 paid for version. Thats all I can find.

Is pathplayer always enabled? Also try cleaning the DVD as it could be dirty with fingerprints or smudges on it. If that does not work then you could download and install VSO inspector and do a surface scan of the DVD. If you get any errors in the red then it a bad disc and needs to be exchanged for another
