    Taking hours to read

I know that this question has been answered here before, but I cannot find it. I am running the latest version of DVDFab on Windows XP and I just burned Transformers 2 and it took hours. I have tried reset my DMA by pressing the "reset DMA" button and then let my computer restart. Isn't that supposed to fix the problem or is there another step that I am missing?

    Thanks in advance!

      Hi amyhood and welcome,

As AGJ said, it's likely we'll need more info.
Occasionally, the resert DMA in Fab won't stick.

Click on the Stubborn Reset DMA link in my sig below.
Near the top of the article click on:

      "1. Click here ."
and run the VBS Script file.

If this doesn't work we'll need details in order to help.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

        From your link maineman .....

The most frequent use why a CD or DVD port falls back to PIO mode is a scratched or otherwise unreadable CD or DVD. For example, some newer DVDs, initially from Sony, carry a copy protection scheme that relies on defective sectors. If you try, without using special software, to copy such a DVD (which doesn't work), then this can already trigger the problem.
