        i run on windows vista
it's been having trouble since I upgraded versions of dvd fab to try and copy transformers 2.
i'm using the drive in the computer nothing external.
before i upgraded the dvd fab, all I had to do was put in the dvd and select whether I wanted just the movie or clone the whole dvd and it started then told me to put in blank dvd and it burned it. nice and easy, but now it will copy the movie but wont burn.

Posting the same comments 3 times on 2 different threads will not expedite your getting help
(I deleted your post on the other thread).
The most likely reason no one has replied is that you've not given sufficient details.

The error you received indicates that the files are too large to fit onto an SL disc.
Please check your target size, settings and the file size (ripped files) on your hdd.
Do the files play properly when viewed from the hdd and exactly how large are they?

This also could be a problem with VSO.
You will likely have better luck if you switch to Img.

sorry, I thought I put all the info needed from the help us page. answered all the questions, not sure what other info you need. I had no problems burning before transformers 2 and tried upgrading . All I used to do was put the disk in and hit clone or main movie, and hit start. then it copied and asked to put in blank dvd. I used a DL dvd for gi joe and taking of pelham. . I've noticed that when I put the dvd's in now it says mpeg for the format, I don't remember it say that before. and what is switching to img and was it the vso, sorry for being not much help, jsut would like to get back running

Not to worry, and I apologize if I sounded harsh.
VSO is the default burn engine in Fab and has been problematic for many users.
Img is another burn utility. It is freeware, very reliable and much more configurable. It also won't cause the problems we've seen with VSO.

Troy512 put together an excellent video tutorial on how to set it up with Fab. There are some other tutorials by Troy as well like automatic, write speed setup and such.

                Here's the download site:
                Imgburn

And here's a sticky with the tutorial info:

If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

                    What Maineman is saying is:-

                    1. The disk that you appear to be trying to burn is a single layer, not a dual layer and is not big enough for all the files.
                    2. At the bottom of the Fab window, you can choose DVD5 or DVD0. Choose the DVD5. You can change the settings for this permanently in the setting page of Fab.
                    3. The MPEG is just an added feature since the upgrade that shows the film format.
                    4. Both VSO and ImgBurn are burning engines and a lot of users swear that Img is far better than VSO which comes bundled with DVD Fab.

I have noticed this too, actually mine says mpeg2.

Sure it didn't say that before.

I am not having any trouble at present, just curious about that point, and I cannot see where anyone has answered?

Never mind, it is not important.

I just wondered why it changed, and that doesn't say.

The above quote does not have the correct logs as there should be more to them.
