Can't copy Resident Evil 3 Extinction

tested with the last 5 dvdfab releases.
DVDfab can't find Mainmovie. Title 12 is autoselected ~21min
looks like title 2 is the main movie, dvdfab show me 8sec runing time but 19 capters, 4 languages 16:9
(no problems with other program)

btw there is a 2nd problem!


Auto Insert Notification is enabled on my system (both w7 and xp/dualboot) but i need to restart dvdfab after a disc swap!

no pathplayer is disabled, but the info file was created before i have disabled the pathplayer.

do you need a new info file without enabled pathplayer?

1. Please try to rip dvd fulldisc (dvd5) to test if it success with pathplayer disable or enable.
2. If success, please try to manually select the title which include AC-3/5.1 or DTS audio track and long time as the main title to test.

full disc backup is 1,98gb

the "main movie" is 448kb

tested on my notebook too!

Hi moonie2001,

Please clean this movie disc firstly, then play it (Resident Evil 3 Extinction) on your standalone dvd player to check which title is the main movie (bare movie), then load it to DVD Copy-Main Movie, choose the main title to see if you can get correct size or still 448kb.

hi sunny, this is not needed
you will NEVER find on my CDs/DVDs any dust,scratches or fingerprints...
my first audio cd (1998) i can sell as brandnew ^^
make any fingerprint on my disc you need to buy a new one for me

SHOULD have, right, but here only 0:08

now i'm sure, dvdfab can't remove the copy protection!
with other program running can find fab the main movie BUT ONLY with german subs!
btw this time has the main movie 8000GB

This DVDFab forum and no place to compare other programs. Give the General Policies a read. With this problem DVD in the DVD drive and with DVDFab started with Pathplayer set to Always Enabled would like you to open common settings of DVDFab and use the Save/Send Info Files.

Just use the save Info Files and save the Zip to computer no need to fill in the personal information but a buy link could be added. Then attach that zipped file to a post reply so the developers can take a look at them
