    Can't copy The Three Musketeers

    Using 6.1.2.5 and previous versions, I can not backup The Three Musketeers. It read the disk easily but fails immediately after selecting Start.

    Try with pathplayer disabled

        I would also update to the latest version 6205

          Installed 6205 and retried with PathPlayer both on and off:
          Task_1 Failed! Error=400()
          Same as before.

            From what I can find error 400 is a transcode error but honestly I never seen that error before. I looked up your drive and its a slimtype in a laptop and that just might be your problem. If at all possible troubleshoot with another drive, an external usb type. Can you possibly borrow one from a friend? I hate to suggest buying a new one but using internal drives with a lappy is and always has been problematic due to the work load and the high heat enviroment. maybe someone else can shed more light on that error code that has more experience.

              I have a couple of drives I can use. I have a Blue-Ray Slim USB external and a full sized DVD in my server. I can try them however, I am sure that I tried them all before with the same result.

                Ok didn't know you had already tried those. I never seen that error before so hopefully someone can offer better help than me.

                  btw is that the only disc that gives that error? Let Fab open the disc and open common settings, and send the info files, give all the info you can and include a link to this thread.

                  Edit: from what I can find its been a problem in the past according to some old change logs from way back

                      Out of the over 800 DVD's I have, only about 4 DVD's are not copyable. I believe they are different errors, I am reviewing those now.

                        looks like it needs pathplayer always enabled as it has structure protection on it. Do you know what year this movie was released, well the DVD you have that trying to back up.

                            I managed to work around it. I did a full disk to a local directory (not sure if local was needed) then used that directory as the source for a Main Movie copy to my network server. (I only backup main movie)

                              As wizardket stated the Full Disk works and not the Main Movie.
