Also having a problem burning Machete. After several attempts it seemed to burn without a problem. I put the disk in my computer and it gets about 10 seconds in and locks up. Put it in again. Same thing. Remove disk, reboot, and it gets ALMOST to the root menu. Take it out and put it in a different dvd player, won't load at all.

For starters, your burner is in PIO mode and needs to be in DMA (UDMA).
The Reset DMA button in Fab (Common Settings) usually does the trick.
Hopefully this will do it.

problem solved

you rock. now, why did that solve the problem. i believe all that did was speed up the drive. can you explain what the diff is in laymans terms?

Difference is that DMA transfers the data directly from the DVD drive to memory with out using the CPU. PIO mode involves the CPU which makes it slower since DVDFab is already using the CPU so PIO mode makes the CPU work harder which makes the transfer slower
