asking for double layer disc

I just purchased Copy dvd to dvd. It seems to copy alright but regardless if I use img. burn.........it says I am inserting a single layer disc and it requires a double layer disc. My old program did not require this....what is happening? thank you, Jim.

That is because you have the quality setting for DVD9 instead of DVD5.

1: Click on the green check mark in the upper right corner.
Click on write and make sure the size setting is at the default of 4300 or at least not more than 4472.

2: With a disc in your drive and fab open look at the lower left corner and make sure the drip down box is set for DVD5
