    Reading/Writing Error

I have updated to this newer version because I was having trouble on the previous one with errors on every DVD I tried to copy. I just purchased the upgrade to Write Data, and since then is when the problems began. Before the purchase, I never had problems writing discs.

Please help because I want to cancel the upgrade for Write Data if this problem is going to continue.

    Thank you.

It would help if you would post some burn logs so we can maybe see what the problem is.

I'm not even sure what a burn log is, or how to post one.

All I can say is neither program, 8.0.8.2 or 6.0 is able to copy. Keep getting the same error message at around the same time -- about 6 mins. into the process. I've tried DVDs published from 1980 through current, and everyone is doing the same thing. Never had this problem before I upgraded to Write Data status.

Not understand what you mean by update to Write Data status! Could you explain that for us because Write Data is included with DVDFab DVD Copy and no upgrade needed for that

OK, here goes, as best as my tech-challenged brain can explain it:

I originally had a free version of DVDFab that only allowed me to Copy, but not Write to a DVD (I hope I'm using the correct lingo here). I had been using a program called CyberLink DVD Suite Deluxe to burn the data onto a blank DVD, but recently began to have problems burning a couple of my discs. It was recommended that I use DVDFab's "Write Data" feature to perform this function instead, but when I tried the prompt said I had to update my current free version -- so I did and paid $46 and change to acquire the link to this upgrade.

That's when my other problem's began...not being able to perform the first function of copying the data and I keep getting this Reading/Writing error on every and any disc I put in, regardless of date of creation. A friend of mine took the DVD I really wanted copy home with her as she has the exact same 8.0.8.2. version with "Write Data" and had no problems copying the disc.

Now for the information requested by the Moderator: (I uploaded the two logs as shown and hope it worked because it said something about files being too big.)

Anyway, I would really appreciate your help as I'm unable to do anything now and getting quite frustrated because I'm very new at this stuff. Thank you again.

                      Open DVDFab.
Click on the blue ? mark in the upper right corner.
                      Click on the word--- About---.

Exactly what does it say? Exactly.

Do you need to know more than this??

I had a thought that the software was not registered correctly.
                          Looks like I was wrong.

                              No logs.
Do a copy / paste of the log pertaining to your last try or two.
