    ISO Files

    Hi Guys,

Wondering if you can please help me.

When I buy a movie I do a back up using DVDFab and then burn it into a blank dvd. I just do main movie no extras. My question is: If I do a clone of the dvd that I burned into an ISO File, is this ISO file have every thing that I burned into the dvd such as: Dolby Digital or DTS which ever form I select? Will this also be the same quality image and sound as in the dvd?

I do apologize if this is a stupid question.

    Would greatly appreciate any assistance

    Thanks

    FC

Yes, it will have and provided that you set the target size as DVD9, the quality will be exactly the same.

Not a stupid question at all.
A clone is a 1:1, bit for bit copy, so all the files are copied including any and all audio tracks, extras, menus, etc.

I'm not sure what you mean by
      "...which ever form I select?"

You cannot select/deselect titles in clone mode...with the .IFO files being the one exception.
Clone mode will not compress so there is no loss of quality.
If the file size exceeds ~ 4472 MB, you'll need DL media.
