    I've been having intermitent problems playing back a burned disk
    I have the regular dvd copy 8085 and some copied movies freeze and the movie RED with bruce willis froze multiple times in the middle of it and then went into slo mo type mode with fragmentation of the video
    I am operating on windows vista with a hp laptop
    I borrowed a movie to a friend and they re-burned the movie using the old dvdfab 6 version and it played fine on the new disk?

    No errors are indicated at all when i burn a dvd. Seems to burn ok. the problem is when I play it back it sticks with some movies, not all of them
    I make a copy for a friend and they have the same issue. At first I thought it was the sony dvd player, until my friend had the same issues

      Attach your logs as asked and we may then be able to assist.

            Here is another log and it states bad media
            I have no idea how I would burn to fast. I did not know i could regulate the speed.

If they have verbatim on the face of the blank DVD then you purchased verbatim that does not have the AZO logo on the package

              Also you are burning at max speed for you DVD Drive and the media being used lower that to 4x and things should work for you

              Another thing you got this message in the burn log 2011-03-21 19:16:49 Info Poor quality disc detected or drive error. that tells you they poor blank media so may want to look for verbatim with AZO on the package

                Also, internal burners in laptops are not noted for their reliability!!!

                  Where would it say the quality on the Verbatim Disk. It is indeen a Verbatim DVD+r it does say rw underneath that Geez and I bought a 50 pk

                    I use another hp external hard drive most of the time to play the dvd and use the laptop to burn it. So I should use the external to burn
                    also how do I lower the burn speed on my laptop?

                      If you want to try and salvage your disc's may I suggest using ImgBurn it is "free" and you will find it here along with a tutorial on setting it up with Fab http://forum.dvdfab.com/showthread.php?t=33 remember to set up the AWS in ImgBurn and set your burn speed to 1/2 the rated speed of your disc.
                      Please see pic for the location of the AZO dye label on Verbatims disc's, these are the DVD-R but the DVD+R will have this label in the same location.

                          If you decide to use ImgBurn it will show you in the tutorial.

                          If you want to use the VSO burn engine
                          Open Fab click the Click the Green √ at top right corner of the DVDFab screen, and open Common Settings > DVD/Blu-Ray > Write > Write Speed set to 4x for the media you are using.
                          Also while here put a check in the box Set booktype to DVD-ROM, restart Fab and try again.

                            and I checked the imgburn download and am confused which one to download
