    compression

I use a single layer nonblueray disc and when I have a movie quality disc that I want to back-up. DVDFAB compresses it, at what point will the compression affect the picture quality. 50% 60% ?

That is too subjective for one hard and fast answer. Ask ten people you'll get ten different answers. The best I can do is tell you the least amout of compression the better. You'll have to decide for yourself what is acceptable.

Agree with the MOD but myself 70% is my cut off before I use a DL but like what was said each to their own I guess (experiment) and see what is best for you

About 70 or 75% like Jimbo said but I usually just pull off the main movie and very seldom have to compress that much. Actually most of the time just the main movie doesn't require compression at all. BTW I'm not a MOD here Jimbo, just stop by now and again.
