DVDFab will not run

Hi - I have downloaded and installed DVDFAB v8.1.0.0. When I click on the program to run, it does nothing. It does not even show up in the task manager. I have also tried to uninstall this program but the uninstall starts and then freezes. I am using a Windows XP Pro SP3 machine. Any help would be great.

V 8.1.0.1 is supposed to have the fix embedded but if it is working for you now then don't try to fix it further.
