I'm not sure if you have problem with DVD9 to DVD5 conversion. Have you tried?
From what I see on your screenshot, you're getting Error 105, meaning
It's too big for single-layer DVD you trying write to because it STILL DVD9! You are just copying it, not compressing (converting) from DVD9 to DVD5. Try it to see if it works for you. for that, set your settings as shown on Grunon's screenshots.105 HWS_TOOBIG 5 // Files are too big to fit on a DVD+/-R(W)

Please post your logs the default location is:
For Win7 C:\Users\User Name\My Documents\DVDFab\Log
For Vista C:\Users\User Name\Documents\DVDFab\Log
For XP C:\Documents and Settings\User Name\My Documents\DVDFab\Log
