DVDFab 8.1.2.0 Internal Preview

DVDFab 8.1.2.0 Internal Preview is not working, External is working fine, OS: Win XP Home

Same here; Internal Preview stopped working for me at v8.1.1.7. If internal preview is selected, program exits to the desktop when preview is first used; no error dialog. I have it setup to show preview window automatically, and to not play source automatically. v8.0.8.5 no issues.

Direct Show IS working ok since 8.1.1.8; DVDFab Audio and Video decoders selected. Audio is working ok, no choppiness or clipping. Audio level slider is working. Video slider can be used to advance or rewind the display; but video slider does not move on its own to indicate preview progress (would be helpful if it did as in prior QT vers).

Direct Show has one odd behavior....if preview is showing a title and the next title is selected without manually stopping the preview first, then the preview window minimizes itself closed when the next title is clicked upon. Stays open if you first stop the current preview in progress. Not elegant way of working...prior version before QT allowed you to just mouse down on the next title to either queue it up or start displaying depending on the auto settings.

We are still improving the internal preview engine, please use DirectShow preview engine if you have problem with it for now, thanks for your understanding.
