hanging on "open DVD source" after fresh win 7 install

Same thing here. Hanging on OPEN SOURCE since version 8.1.2.0. Previous versions where fine. Something has changed since then ? Windows 7 64-bit.

Had to use an older version to get the job done. 8.0.8.5.

Ah ha !!! Just figured out where the issue is coming from.........drum roll please .................................................. .................................................. .................................................P ATHPLAYER......


Disable it and restart. Should not hang.

Thought this was the answer to my never ending opening Bluray source issue.
No one had suggested disabling Pathplayer before (have tried everything else).

Unfortunately this does not solve my problem.
Even on latest release 8.1.2.5

Still waiting for a solution from somewhere.
