    Transformers-dark of the moon

Try version 8.1.2.4 of dvdfab...Title 68, took my computer about 1 hour to download. Then use DVD Shrink, remove all languages except english. Burn with DVDFAB... Plays fine no problems... Good Luck

Backed Up Transformers Dark of the Moon

Using 8.1.2.5 Main Movie Only Pathplayer enabled
The first time I tried it was going to take 3+ hours but I noticed the preview was also running in the background. I went into settings an turned off preview autostart and restart DVDFab

Second pass I changed the settings to output to DVD9 to HDD. It took less than 12 minutes. I used DVDShrink to split it.

Your post has been moved to the Blu-ray Copy forum since that is the format you are trying to back up.

rebooted and looked at the log - showed the read errors were "pathplayer drive error 1" so I disabled pathplayer and reopened.

Disk read fine (main movie - 68) and ripped just fine to hd - however, folder size was 2.33 and imgburn burned it fine........in playing it ran to chapter 1-12 (chapter jumped to there, started playing it...) and the the dvd player flashed all kinds of numbers etc. and reverted to the beginning. The burn was just half the disc in looking at it.

Don't know what to try next.....

Thanks - usually rip full disc and have never had it play before.....

I will let this rip complete (as I cannot turn off the preview now...) and see if it did indeed actually rip this time.

Turn off the preview when ripping it has been proven to cause extended rip time.

....don't know why so long, seems like my size will end up similar to yours and it seems that someone else on the thread had that size also..

....maybe this is running the rip in real time?
