Latest version does not read the discs....

Hmmmm - guess will have to go back to the last BETA that did (I know 8.1.1.9 worked).

AS a matter of fact 8.1.2.4 does read some of the older DVD's too - but not Transformers 3 !!!!!!

Without more information an logs as to what you problem is, it will be all guess work.
The default location is:
For Win7 C:\Users\User Name\My Documents\DVDFab\Log
or Vista C:\Users\User Name\Documents\DVDFab\Log
or for XP C:\Documents and Settings\User Name\My Documents\DVDFab\Log
