I tried to copy "Dispicable Me" with the newest version installed and although it will play on both my DVD player and on computer, when I attempt to open to copy i can't get past the initial scanning. I have tried to open disc for 10-15 min. without anything happening. The only way to close the scanning attempt is to open the "Windows Task Manager" and then close it that way. I have tried a search here on the forum but most posts are from '09. If this is a repeat post, I'm sorry, and please guide me to the proper post.
I am running Windows 7. see pics for computer info if pertinent...

please make shure that pathplayer is always enabled.restart dvdfab and try again.
dvdfab has no problems with this dvd.

If I understand correctly you are attempting to copy the copy? If so disable PathPlayer in common settings and give it a try. Don’t forget to set it back to Always Enabled after.

No, Fellas I'm still having the same problem and still cannot shut down program without using the task manager see pic. Also, this is the original movie I purchased, not a copy
P.S. I also have uninstalled and reinstalled twice.

Playing a DVD and Copying are "apples to oranges".
My suggestion to you would be to try an older version, 8085 you will find them in the link in my signature.
If still having problems post your logs the default location is:
For Win7 C:\Users\User Name\My Documents\DVDFab\Log
or Vista C:\Users\User Name\Documents\DVDFab\Log
or for XP C:\Documents and Settings\User Name\My Documents\DVDFab\Log

Little late getting back but thanks for your help. That's all it took to copy "Despicable Me" going back to an earlier release. I assumed, that as the releases got newer, all the prior stuff was still there.
