Unable To Back Up "Space Cowboy's"

Unable to back up DVD Region 1 "Space Cowboys".
DVDFab gets stuck just when trying to read it. It seems it keeps scanning it
over and over and then gives you the option to ignore abort or retry, none of which do any good.

This DVD has that InterActual Technologies, Inc. on it, I think that is the issue.
If I disable path player it is able to start the copy process, but then it gets stuck at the 54% mark giving me the same options
ignor, ignore all, retry or abort.

have you tried to clean the disc?? if that wont work then you have a defective disc. return to the store for an exchange.

Disc is clean, but it plays normally not a hitch.

Space Cowboy

is the dvd scratched up? that can cause read errors too
must be a defective disc then.

Not a scratch super clean and shiny finish on it.

Go to General Setting and check the box for Ignore All Read Errors.
Turn off Pathplayer.

Just tried that, and at 54% thru encoding it slows to a crawl (0.35mb's).
I am still letting it go and see if it gets over the hump and speeds up.

It slowed to the point where it was going to take 8 hours and the rate was 0.14MB's and slowing, so I just canceled it.

I was going from DVD to iso Movie only.

Hi,
From the Process log file, it's just take 21mins to copy the movie. But failed when creating ISO file.

What's the write size you are setting?

Please use image burn and have a try to burn the iso again.
