need to backup FRINGE series

I bought Fringe Season 1 box set and what to back up it. What's the proper way to do it? using Main Movie option and selecting only the episodes in each dvd or do i have to use splitting or customize split? i want to use DVD-R media single layer and burn only the episodes without the extras.

You may be better using "Customize" mode and selecting DVD5 so that you can at least retain the menus for navigation.
