    DVD5 Option

To my knowledge I thought when you selected DVD5 it would allow you to burn to single layer disks and DVD 9 was for Dual layer/ Blue ray. my DVD fab on DVD5 setting Very Rarely allows me to burn Single layer DVD's now is this Normal or am I missing a setting that will allow this to happen??

I hit a return to defaults and restarted the program making sure DVD5 was still set to both so we will see what happens hopefully that will correct the problem, I will let you know

                Hi buster132
What option are you selecting in Fab.

Also are you using the paid or free version of Fab.

If you were using the 30 day trial and it ran out you will not be able to compress and burn to disc.

If paid version, Open Fab click the ? click about, what does it say under the options that you purchased!!!

Even if it's a little thing, do something for those who have need of help, something for which you get no pay but the privilege of doing it.

Doesn't matter much what the burn settings are ... the RIP (or copy) settings must be set for DVD5, as that determines what size file you get, and what you can burn it on. (DVD 5 or DVD9 blank)

Yes... I'm aware of that, as are most of the other contributors... but many of the OPs are new to this, and may not fully realize what Grunon was really saying...

This particular person kept referring to his Fab 'burn' settings, and I just wanted to set him straight on that... any way you cut it, Fab isn't doing the burn... it's either VSO or Imgburn, so the Fab settings are irrelevant.

                      Thanks for helping!
