      Sorry, it does not....

      DVDFAB either works or it doesn't. What does R1/R4 mean. I tried copying the movie only and that does not work as well. I checked the disk and it is fine in players. We will need 8.1.6.4 for this to copy Puss N Boots.....

              Also tried on different computers....

              Ran 8.1.6.3 on Windows 7 and tried to burn and same problem as Windows XP SP# on another computer. The Windows 7 notebook is brand new....

                Puss n boots

                i was able to copy puss n boots,with no problems, but a friend also running 8.1.6.3 could not, i had problems with j edgar, but no one else seemed to have trouble with it. maybe you should just try reinstalling 8.1.6.3 then give puss n boots another whirl. my friend did that but had no luck, but hes working on an old computer.

                  It finally worked....

                  Well, I reinstalled 8.1.6.3 and then I tried again. Apparently it takes longer than normal to scan the DVD before copy. I usually look for 2-3 scans before it starts.. This time it took many more before it started the copy. I have a good copy now....

                    I agree. Sometimes when there's a problem like this I uninstall the program completely then re-install it and it seems to work. Only sometimes an update is needed in which case as we all know we need to wait for. I'm not one to solicite but to unistall it properly there's a program called Revo unistaller that works perfectly. So un-install with revo and will remove all the left over files as well and with a clean install it just might work. Hope this helps. I ran into the same problem did what i mentioned above and it worked perfectly.

                      My mistake

                      My mistake. I just tried watching it after doing what i did being uninstalling and reinstalling and it didn't work. Sorry for the confusion. I just tried again and its now stuck on that scanning part. It won't go any further. I can't even send in a log of it. Oh well. Looks like we'll have to wait for the team to figure this one out.

                        It finally worked

                        I tried it one more time and it worked. With the unistall and fresh install it worked. Full back up or movie only. So like I had mentioned before try a complete uninstall and reinstall and it should work for you. Hope that helps.

                          I don't think you have a software issue, just a difficult copy of the movie. I used dvdfab 5.2.3.2 my old fathfull and copied. I also noticed that during the initail scan of this movie with dvdfab 8.1.6.3 it did take longer which leads me to believe this particular title was probably mass produced very cheaply.
