failed to burn

    failed to burn

    got a new laptop and wondering if a setting i off, it will copy to hard drive but every disc i try to copy it states failed to burn (do you want to burn again?) as soon as I put blank dvd in the drive. Please help, thanks.

    or Vista C:\Users\User Name\Documents\DVDFab\Log
    or for XP C:\Documents and Settings\User Name\My Documents\DVDFab\Log
    Please use attachment button and attach your most recent, Internal and Burn log(s)and post right here.

        It appears that the file(s) are too large for a single layer disk. Are you selecting DVD-5 at the bottom of the first screen?

          issues with failed to burn

          i have dvd5 in the box
          two movies i am trying are one is 4.15 and the other is 4.37
          i have never had an issue until the new laptop.
          any other suggesstions?

            One movie appears to be just a bit too large for the disk and the second says the blank disk is not blank. I got this error just yesterday because my son bought me some cheap Memorex blanks, had to throw one away. What brand of blank are you using?

                Do you set 4300M for DVD5 size in Common Settings -> Write?

                  Another thing if you don't set the default output size to DVD-5 it will default to DVD-9 and not compress if you happen to overlook it. See attached:
