This is starting to sound like a bit of malware may have slipped in. Do you have Malwarebytes? There is a free version you can download it will update with the latest definitions. Restart your system in safe mode and do a full scan. May not be the problem but it sounds fishy.

No malware checked for that first like I said its a conflict with the QT versions as all other older non QT versions run.

        Hi burgman88
Sorry to see this is still troubling you.

Except for the usual suggestions which should not matter, make sure that your graphics card driver is up to date, check your anti virus program, did you install and run Fab as administrator.

This does not help because this is a Roxio problem.

        I'm stumped!!!

Did you try the system restore option.

Thanks for the help it looks like a reformat of the hard drive and reinstall the OS oh happy days.

Please pass this info along to the higher ups:

Any version of DVDFab QT will not run on a XP SP3 system with Roxio Creator 2011 and 2012 if they install any of these version DVFab QT will not run and they will have to reinstall the operating system! I told them over 11 months ago and they left me hanging because I was running XP instead of Windows 7 they never even attempted to help me or respond to my issue!

          Again thanks for your time

Well I am taking your advice and I am in the process of updating to Windows 7, I will then install Roxio 2012 and then try to install DVDFab and I will let you know if it will run together under the new OS.

I tried to get help via Roxio forum and man don't even go there as they were no help and some of the comments were so far out in left field I had to laugh, the support from the users here is 10 times better then Roxio.

Also I notice during the setup of Roxio 2012 you no longer have the option on what programs to install it's all or nothing so that killed a work around there.

Ok after all of the hard work of reinstalling the new OS and applications, Roxio 2012 and DVDFab QT can not run on the same system!

The only other thing I can think of is to partition your drive and have a dual boot system. Run DVDFab on one and the offending software on the other.

That won't work its a problem with Roxio blocking DVDFab on the system. I sent a request to support to ask them for help.

Maybe I wasn't clear, if you partition the hard drive and install your OS on the second partition and boot from it, it's like a different computer and won't even know the other software exists.

Question whats that got to do with my conflict of DVDFab? There has been a problem with prior version of Roxio and DVDFAB QT release.

This thread has run its course and the problem is not DVDFab's. Thread closed.
