    can't rip any movies

Not sure what happen but all of a sudden I cant copy any movies. I tried jack n jill & Puss in boots but neither will let me burn I even went to store to get different dvd's cuz I'm waiting on my verbatim. I tired Sony DVD+R and Memorex DVD+R. I have tried multiple disc as I wasn't sure if they were just bad. I even tried upgrading my Imgburn but then it wouldn't let me do anything so I had to put the old one back on. Any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks.

First do not burn at MAX speed, set to half the rated speed for this media and if I had to choose between Memorex and Sony I'd pick Sony every time. Looks like the media is 8x set the burn speed to 4x and give it a whirl.

I have switched the spped to 4x but everytime I try to burn it doesn't work but when I look back it still shows max speed. Maybe I'm not doing it right. Sorry not very computer sawvy. I have never had a problem with the speed before so i'm not sure why all of a sudden its messing up.

Click the green circle at the top with the white check mark in it, then set it as pictured restart Fab:

Thanks that worked now it burns from fab instead of Imgburn too. I was switching the speed on it img and not on fab.

If you are using ImgBurn, open it without Fab click tools then write and put a check in the OPC box. Optimum power calibration seems to help with this cheaper media that could be made by any of a number of manufacturers. You can also set the automatic write speed, it will detect the media and set the speed, 4x for this stuff and say 12x for your Verbatim when it comes in.

            Glad it's working for you!
