My blank DVD-R disk was immediately rejected whenever I tried to burn an .iso file using DVDFab. Below is the log and the error message.

    roatan,
let me first clarify couple of things:
    (1) DVDFab doesn't burn anything...
    (2) DVDFab doesn't have built-in burning engine, but uses third-party: VSO, ImgBurn, or Nero...
So first question is which burning engine you are using?
I have a suspicion that you are using VSO. If that's the case, please don't even look for solution, just install and set up ImgBurn to work with DVDFab

Please post your logs the default location is:

      Hi my friend
DVD Fab does now, see pic

      @ roatan
If you would like to use ImgBurn as your burn engine you will find instructions in the link in my signature.

Please post your most recent burn log.
      Thanks

        @ IPopov50

I wasn't aware that DVDFab has not built-in burning engine. I've been using previous versions for the last 2 years and never had problem burning. All I've been doing is just click to the .iso file as source and for destination just choose my DVD writer. Something happened behind the scene and the disk got written. That is all up until the latest version of DVDFab. What's VSO? I don't recall installing such a program though my computer does have Nero.

        @ CBR929

It just seems strange that apparently I've had enough to burn the DVDs but suddenly it doesn't work anymore. Maybe something needs to be reset and/or reconnect? If I can't re-establish what I have before I will follow your advice and download ImgBurn.

Thank you both for your responses.

Agree with both my friends, dump VSO and install Img.
VSO has a history of being problematic for many users...although to be fair, it performs just fine for many.

Img is more reliable, more configurable and has much better support.
Be certain to set up AWS (Automatic Write Speed) in Img as well. It is well worth a couple of minutes.

          The confusion with VSO is a result of it being "bundled" with Fab and it is installed by virtue of the default settings;
you would have to manually opt out of the VSO install during normal installation of Fab.

I agree with you, it is strange, but not uncommon behavior with respect to VSO.
It may be a relatively easy fix, but perhaps not and believe me, it can get much worse in attempting a fix.
