Burning Problem

I've just recently installed ver 7178 and then ver 8182 with similar problems. I have a lifetime subscription to DVD copy and after the updates can no longer burn any standard non HD discs. The originals copy to the hard drive OK but in an uncompressed mode- usually over 7 gigs. When I go to burn the files to a standard disc I cannot change the quality format format from DVD9 to DVD5. It also makes no difference which burn engine is selected.
Also if the source files are less than 4.1 Gig then DVDFab will work as in the past.

Your information was a little vague but I entered my registration code & it seems to be back to normal. This is the first time since 2005 that I had to manually enter it. All other updates over the years have gone smoothly without having to reenter it.
