    Task_2 failed! Error=122 Please help!!

I just upgraded to ver 6 from 5.2.3.2
The old version was burning perfectly until added a new SATA hard drive
I upgraded to ver 6 thinking/hoping it would help. Not at all..

I got this in my event log:
    21:46:19: Clone process started
    21:53:41: Clone process completed successfully
    21:54:37: Burn DVD image (C:\Documents and Settings\Jay\My Documents\DVDFab\Temp\Clone\BABY_EINSTIEN___DA_VIN CI.iso) started
    21:59:26: Task_2 failed! Error=122

My VSO log is too big to attach. Shall I cut and paste here?

Any advice and help is appreciated!!

    Hi Mased and welcome,

    Yes, please.
You can try to edit some of the characters out of the movie title; some characters or a particularly lengthy title will cause errors.
Just call it something like Davinci.iso

    Do other modes work ok?
Are you certain the file path is legit...does it have sufficient space?
If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

Thanks for your reply! I'm sure everything was ok as I had burned successfully last week. Not sure what's up. Maybe the VSO log can help explain! Here it is!
BTW, the disc was always ejected by the unit itself. I haven't changed anything since burning successfully!

To be honest, it looks like another screw up with VSO.
We've seen this in the past and recently, it seems to be getting worse.

I see that the burns fail with both SL burns (TYG02) and DL burns (MKM 003) and you're using high quality media (both -R and +R media)
and it's still spitting them out as failed.
Not much else to do here...VSO is just plain buggy for many users.

I'd switch to Img. Most of us prefer Img...it's free, very configurable, very reliable and well supported.

Here's a post by troy 512 with a link and some great video tutorials on how to set it up with Fab, configure auto write speeds and such:

Setting Up ImgBurn and DVDab to work together

Any questions or problems, give us a shout.
