Some Folders/ISO Not Loading In DVDFab

I'm running DVDFab 8 QT (8.2.0.0). Sometimes when I load certain DVD Folders or ISO from my HDD, DVDFab does not seem to open them. It's almost as if it doesn't read any data in the ISO. However, other DVDs on my HDD that I load into DVDFab in order to convert to other formats (like to iPod for example) load just fine.

Is there something about how certain ISOs or DVD Folders are ripped that would cause DVDFab not to "see" the data when it does load others?

Update:

I discovered the problem. There was nothing wrong with the VOB folders/ISO files themselves. I used a special character in the folder name (I used a alt+179 = |) and DVDFab would not recognize it. When I removed it, everything opened fine.
