    Standard Backup Copy takes hours

I'm trying to backup my original DVD "The Sound of Music, Anniversity Addition", but although the read was progressing, I cancelled at about 70% because it had already taken a couple hours and indicated 7 more hours to complete. This is not Blue Ray, just a standard run of the mill DVD. The logs are as follows; The prior copy of "Looney Tunes" worked fine. I'm going to download and install the lastest version as soon as we can determine why so long to copy.

Gateway 3.2 gb CPU w/2GB Mem
    250GB HD
Nec 3500 AG DVD double layer drive
    Win 7 Professional

Were you trying to backup two discs at once?

No. The log file was too large and exceeded the forum message size spec. Therefore, I deleted all but the last copy.

Update to 8.2.1.5 and try again, post the log if no improvement.

            Hi dolphin203
Please do as my friend 90312 suggested.
Also try resetting DMA to do this Open Fab Click the Green top right > General > make sure Check for DMA Automatically is Checked and also Click the Reset DMA to the right click OK and restart Fab.You may also have to restart your computer.
            Hope this helps
