I, quite often with Blu Rays I've purchased, make a Backup for my own use. I have a Subscription to DVDFAB for DVD's as well as Blu Ray Copy.
Until just recently it would take about 8-25 minutes to Rip the Blu Ray and then if it was larger than 22+ GB, I would use BD REBUILDER along with FFD SHOW, MATROSKA SPLITTER and AVISYNTH to shrink it to fit on a BD-25 Disc. This BDREBUILDER process took many hours to shrink the Blu Ray.
Lately, it takes hours to do this with DVDFAB BLU RAY COPY. . It is now VIDEO RENCODING, with GPU Acceleration for VIDEO ENCODING ENABLED. It seems to SHRINK the BLU RAY to 22 + GB so it may be backed up on a BD-25 Disc. This eliminates having to use BD REBUILDER.
Is my assumption correct ?, and I assume that is why it is taking so long to back up the disc. Or, is it possible I don't have the program set properly?
