Trestass DVD can not be read ...

Hi there, as described in the title, the "Trespass" DVD, with Nicolas Cage, can not be read.
It is analyzed by DVDFab "opening", for a while but unable to do so.

You have the same read error in both logs. If after a good cleaning it still does this you can try setting DVDFab to ignore it, see attached:

thank you for your answer ...
I have also tried ignoring the reading errors, but behavior is the same.

Please note I have got 2 physical DVD's of this movie and both are presenting the same issue ... like a protection on the movie ?

In fact sometimes it succeeds - after a while - to analyze the DVD, presenting the chapters and so on, but then when clicking "Copy", it fails reading the DVD again and gives the following error message :

        Reading / Writing Control Error
Error While Reading ! Please Choose what to do
Retry - Abort - Ignore - Ignore All

Go ahead and update to 9.0.1.8 and in common settings disable all GPU activity and turn off lightning recode to see if that makes a difference.

              Get 9.0.1.8 here:

And turn off the GPU as shown in the attachment:

If this is a protection scheme or a poorly manufactured batch of discs this won't help but it will do no harm.

mmm I have upgraded to the version 9.0.1.8, disabled all GPU and turned off lightning ... and now it anamyses quicker but when I press "Copy", it starts the process (no more Writing / Reading Error dialog box ...) but hangs ...

Elapsed time counts, process is only 3.03% after 5 minutes

VERRRYYY SLOW ... not workable ...

Turn your GPU stuff back on, see what happens?

                    wait I am lost now.
Options I now have are :

                    Ignore all reading errors
                    select : Disable all GPU
                    unselected : Enable Ligntning Recording.

... with those options it takes VERY long time to open the DVD ... and basically do not succeed to open it ...

Yeah I was mistaken. Wait and let the developers take a look at this, I think you may just have a bad disc(s) it does happen in batches.

I have tried reading it with the same computer with a DVD reader software and it works fine.

Is there a way I can "backup" it as such (even with protections, ...) on my computer for further investigation ... as I need to return the DVD back in a few hours ...
