Failed to Burn

Will not burn DVD. I have had no problems for a long time until I renewed my software. Please help me with this problem. Thanks

I believe your problem lies with the media your using.
You can try ImgBurn as your burn engine, you will find instructions in the link in my signature on setting it up with Fab.

EDIT Your drive also has a firmware update which may help with this media, you will find it here http://www.firmwarehq.com/download_1...ew%29.zip.html
NOTE: If you do not know how to flash your drive do not do it, it will render your drive useless.

1stwave - CBR929 is right, but for the wrong reason.

If you are trying to write a DL disc, your choice of -DL is the wrong choice... you should be using +R DL ,,, where the software can set and write the layer break... the -DL the first layer ends at the outer edge of the disk.

There's no way I kbow of the get a -DL to jump to the second layer.

Suggest you invest in some Verbatim (by choice) DVD +R DL discs, and your problems should disappear.

By the by... the suggestion to use Imgburn as your default burner is an excellent one.
