    DVD Copy vs. DVD Ripper

What features are in DVD Copy that are not in DVD Ripper?
What features are in DVD Ripper that are not in DVD Copy?

I am interested in decrypting the DVD and copying it to the hard drive of my computer. After that, I write it back to a DVD using DVD Shrink and Nero.

I am not interested in conveting the DVD to other formats.

Would I need DVD Ripper or is DVD Copy good enough?

If that's all you want to do and those are the programs you want to use, all you really need is Passkey.

      Hi RalphZero
I agree with my friend about passkey.
Passkey will remove the copy protection and that's all.
With DVD copy you will be able to remove the copy protection, compress, and burn to disc in 1 step.

One other tidbit on DVD Shrink, while Passkey will decrypt on the fly Shrink will not handle discs with structural protection on the fly, you'll have to rip to the hard drive first with Passkey alone and then use Shrink on the HDD folder and burn with Nero. DVDFab will do it all in one slick operation.
