    dvd playback issues

Hi new to the forums. I am having a problem with my back up dvds during playback. A burn dvd will start losing video and keep the audio. This happens about every 5 to 10 mins. and the black out lasts about 3-5 seconds. The audio stays current. Any ideas?

No error codes during burn.

        What media are you using?

        What speed are you burning?

What burn engine are you using?

What mode of DVDFAB are you using?

What version of DVDFAB are you using?

Is this with all DVDs or one?

If one what is the name of the movie?

        What region are you in?

Sorry for more questions, but we really need a burn log or two...

See now if you posted all the info listed in the sticky we would not be asking for more info from you and instead could be solving this issue already.

Looking at this my suggestion would be to redure your burm speed to at least half of the max speed for the disc. When I make back ups I burn ar 4x. If your picture goes "pixely" then it more that likely is your burn speed.

Thanks for the suggestion. I was kind of wondering the same thing. The video doesnt pixel it goes out completely. I will reduce the burn speed to see if that helps. Thanks again.

I am suspusus of the Sony -R.
The last time I tried Sony -R they were junk. I could not get a decent copy at more than 8X.

12X was hit and miss and 16X was 100% coasters.
