Problems with skipping ever since 9

I have had problems with back ups skipping towards the end of the movie, usually a little after an hour into the movie, its not at the exact spot everytime, but its becoming more common every time i update DVDFAB. I have changed the write speed to 8x, and use verbatim DVD-R's like everyone suggests, and I am still having a problem. It used to not be this bad when I used to burn with dvdfab 8, I have always used the default burning engine, do I need to do something different? Im tired of wasting discs, can anyone point me in the right direction?

Have you proven that it is the disc and not the player causing you problems? What you describe could be the player going south. If you have then try selecting DVDFab burning engine and set the burning speed to half the media's rated speed and give it a go.

      verbatim
The ones that are marked with AZO on the package or the cheap line from Verbatim?

I have tried in several players, including a xbox 360, which it does it the worst in. And i have the burner set to default and have been burning at half the speed of what the disc is rated, which is 8x. And I have been using the AZO verbatim discs. I see people talking about using a different burning engine, would this help if I tried that? im running out of ideas

I might be reading it wrong, but are U using DVD -R or DVD +R discs? Maybe that could be part of the problem?

When you burn your discs, do you also verify them with that option enabled?

Yes I use -R discs, and no, I do not verify them after the burn, I have used this program for about 3 years now and dont think Ive ever had the option enabled. But I guess its worth a shot.

Using ImageBurn could very well eliminate your problem. Its one of the very best burning engines out there!

                          Hi DanHalen78
                          Your burn log looks fine.
Try as suggested and use ImgBurn as your burn engine, you will find instructions in the link in my signature on setting it up with Fab.

I use these same discs but, I use ImgBurn as my burn engine and have never had a problem.
